I love sports :)

So yesterday was the Iowa State spring football game, and it got me so excited for the fall!! It was a beautiful day for football. :) My sister Jess and brother-in-law Jeff came up with their kids Colin and Avery and took me out to get some pizza before the game. It was a great time. I love spending time with family. Avery got so excited when she saw Cy. It was adorable. She would also yell out "I-State" every time she saw an Iowa State logo. Colin was quite the character too yesterday especially when he was mocking Jeff. We were driving through campus, and Jeff pointed out the window saying, "Colin, I used to live over there in that building." Colin responded by pointing out the other window saying, "I used to live over there in that forest." It was pretty humorous at the time.

I also love that it is baseball season right now, and my Yankees play like every day. :) I'm feeling #28!! I can't wait to see my boys this summer! :) Hopefully, I'll get another present from Derek Jeter.

In case anyone didn't know... I miss Haiti tremendously and everyone in St. Louis du Nord and Tortuga!! Haiti has captured my heart like nothing else before, and I can't wait to go back. God has blessed those people so much with some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen! & the children are so precious and heartwarming!

I'm going to get back to reading my book of today One Heartbeat Away by Mark Cahill. I don't want to put it down! It's an easy read and filled with incredible information. You should definitely check it out asap! Okay... good bye for now! Love youuu!!

here it is. . .

So I decided to make a blog. I have a lot of thoughts and stories to tell and what better way to get er done. It's currently Veishea week, and life is a bit crazy in Ames. I have yet to decide how I feel about Veishea. It has its ups and downs.

I went to Salt last night & discovered that there is possibly another Haiti trip in the making, but I don't think I'll be able to go due to my varsity and junior high coaching commitments this summer. :( I will go back to Haiti soon, though! I love it so much. :) I will probably write about some of my Haiti stories soon.

I'm currently reading a book called 23 Minutes in Hell, and I came across this video of the author giving a speech about his experience in Hell and such. It's kind of long but really interesting, and I hope you watch it. Go to the website below and then scroll down to the video. Let me know what you think. http://www.freecdtracts.com/cd_1.htm

Anyways... I'm off to do some stuff on this beautiful day God has blessed us with and hopefully meet up with some old friends in town for Veishea! Love you guys! :)
